Void texture changes when hit

Something weird I’ve just noticed, when getting hit the void textures on the wall seem to change in quality briefly.

Does it with a variety of monsters and the same texture throughout the map. (settings are at very low)

@luke-dooly Do you think this could be related to the VRAM Memory Allocation setting?

yep, the texture system is adapting to keep within the set ram usage. if exceeded it will cut down textures to meet the budget. and then bring it up again when ram is free again. this is not a bug and is a in place feature to help older cards handle the load.
