When taking the “Natural Cadence” node you are still stopped from attacking while Swipe is on cooldown. It only occurs when re-clicking after using swipe, and if you are not holding shift.
Could you post your Swipe skill tree and equipment? I’ve just tested this and was able to use Basic Attack while Swipe is off cooldown, even if I clicked the ability button again.
I have the same problem ShadefGrey describes, along with the basic attack not firing at all while Swipe is on cooldown. Doesn’t matter if I hold the hotkey down or repeatable use the hotkey, the basic attack doesn’t go off.
Here is a short video of what I’m describing, where I’m holding the button down, then switch to mashing the button. I’m wearing Beast King and some other gear, but the problem exists naked as well.
Same here, picked the skill - i have nothing but blue and a yellow axe i found.
I have also the same issue.
I can’t use normal swipe while Claw of the bear is selected in the tree and on cooldown.
