Not sure what this zone is, but i just went out of town and mobs were pretty close to waypoint, as i click the waypoint accidently and the map overlay appeared i died.
It seems to me that if you’re too close to the portal & you mouse over it while holding down LMB (to keep moving) then it opens up the map which is quite frustraiting, doubly so if there are mobs nearby.
