Game Freezes on First Map

Im at the first map at the beginning. I’ve killed the first monster, and as I walk down to the second monster, the whole game freezes. Tried changing the graphic settings, and checked all my Windows 10 and AMD Raedeon graphics drivers are up to date.

Unfortunately we’ve been having difficulty trying to ascertain how to best fix this issue.

 
There is one thing you could try which may help;

  • Create a new folder on your Desktop called DirectX.
  • Go here: [color color=#999999]https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/confirmation.aspx?id=8109[/color].
  • Download the file. The directory it downloads to isn't important.
  • Right-click on the directx_Jun2010_redist .exe file and choose Run as Administrator.
  • You will need to accept the agreement to continue.
  • Click the Browse button and navigate to the folder you created, then click OK.
  • Right-click on the DXSETUP .exe file and choose Run as Administrator.
  • You will need to accept the agreement to continue.
