The node states that a lightning storm will occur in the impact area of Earthquake for X seconds, capping at 5. However, from my tests, it seems that it always lasts for two seconds, regardless of investment. Here is a recording showing it at 5 points and then the lightning only going off for two seconds. The impact occurs at around 9s while the lightning stops at 11s.
