Does this game still store local saves in the windows registry?

Just curious whether the devs have moved save data out to a file yet

Nothing has changed, still in windows registry ! And as far as I know they haven’t talked about modifications for local saves in the future.

Yes when multiplayer launches we will make characters that are stored online. You cannot play with characters that you have created up until that point.
