I made a new solo self found character it started up with the sentinels little back story. I hit space bar twice to skip it and this was the result

Only happened after creating a second new character. The first was fine.
Quitting the game, creating another new character worked.
I gave you both player log and previous player log as Not sure which one would be more helpful. player log
Just to add after closing the game and relogging to character select screen. The character I made that caused the bug, was never actually made as it wasn’t in my characters.
Is this trying to make a character with the same name as a previous character?

it happened on my 1st attempt to make a new character in ssf on new patch. 2nd attempt worked fine. Didn’t make a 3rd attempt as Im playing the character i just made on 2nd attempt.

I had the same issue, not creating a character with a previously taken name either.
Fixed by restarting.
