End of Time Chest Disappeared

I was using the controller beforehand for moving around and such. But then I used the kb&m to talk to the merchant and opened the chest in the End of Time area, sorted some items, pressed Esc to close that menu and the chest was gone + the ESC button no longer worked. Not sure if the two are tied together or the controller had something to do with it. Though, I’ve done this hundreds of times before so maybe something new with the patches.

Update to this as I’ve found out how to reproduce it.

So it appears to be another Controller related bug, somewhat similar in fashion to this post;

Bug Caused by Controller

Steps to reproduce the bug; Choose character and enter game world Turn on Controller, wait for it to be detected Leave the game back to the character select screen (using either the controller or kb&m) Power off the controller while still at the character select screen Choose a character (I chose the same one I used previously) and enter the game world using kb&m The following screen should await you; You can actually still move around in this screen, and if you turn your controller back on…

Steps to reproduce the bug;

1. Select character and enter the game world
2. Turn on controller and wait for the game to recognize it
3. Turn off the controller while still in the game world
4. The chest should disappear when you try to access it using kb&m. If it doesn’t, in either case it is no longer accessible nor does the ESC button work.
5. Turning the controller back on resolves both issues.

I’m using a wireless Xbox One controller.
