Is there a way to transfer my character and stash files from Windows 10 to Linux (Ubuntu 20.04)? Both Steam versions. From what I can tell the way characters are stored are different between OS installations.
The location might be different, but if you’re using steam cloud saves (which I’m not sure you can turn off) then just loggin in to steam on Ubuntu should download the updated files if the last time you played was on Windows.
Alternatively, here is the save file location (in the save directory in the same place as the log files):

Unfortunately Windows steam cloud save isn’t applying to Linux install but it does work in reverse to some degree. Characters created on Linux show up on my Windows install, but I bjorked myself because it also deleted my gold and stash.
