When using the Stash Materials button in the inventory, a message appear with the materials sent to the stash but when checking the stash the materials aren’t in there.

Just to clarify, they don’t go to the character’s stash. Shards are transferred to the crafting window (f by default) and glyphs/runes to the pop out window (purple button on the left of your inventory).
