[SKILL] Primalist Druid: Specific defensive passives

Are the druid passives “Strengthened Bonds” and “Defense of the Heart” functioning as intended? They are varied (read: lower than expected?) benefits even though this character has those passives maxed in point investment. Perhaps the descriptions of those passives are just off/misleading/in need of rewording? More than likely it’s my misunderstanding of the mathematics at play, but I want to be certain.

I tested the passives based on their requisites. Below are my results:

BASE

  • armor: 70%
  • lightning: 47%
  • cold: 47%
  • fire: 47%
  • void: 26%
  • necrotic: 17%
  • poison: 17%

ON CRIT (Defense of the Heart: 125% description)

  • armor: 78% (AY*: 8% / MY**: 111% )
  • lightning: 69% (AY: 12% / MY: 147%)
  • cold: 69% (AY: 12% / MY: 147% )
  • fire: 69% (AY: 12% / MY: 147% )
  • void: 47% (AY: 11% / MY: 180% )
  • necrotic: 34% (AY: 17% / MY: 200% )
  • poison: 34% (AY: 17% / MY: 200% )

SINGLE COMPANION (Strengthened Bond: 50% description)

  • armor: 73% (AY: 3% / MY: 104% )
  • lightning: 57% (AY: 10% / MY: 121% )
  • cold: 57% (AY: 10% / MY: 121% )
  • fire: 57% (AY: 10% / MY: 121% )
  • void: 35% (AY: 9% / MY: 135% )
  • necrotic: 23% (AY: 6% / MY: 135% )
  • poison: 23% (AY: 6% / MY: 135% )

ON CRIT + SINGLE COMPANION (Defense of the Heart + Strengthened Bond)

  • armor: 80% (AY: 10% / MY: 114% )
  • lightning: 73% (AY: 26% / MY: 155% )
  • cold: 73% (AY: 26% / MY: 155% )
  • fire: 73% (AY: 26% / MY: 155% )
  • void: 52% (AY: 26% / MY: 200% )
  • necrotic: 38% (AY: 21% / MY: 225% )
  • poison: 38% (AY: 21% / MY: 225% )

testing snippet: - YouTube (description indicates milestones for quick timeline scrubbing if desired)
*AY: Additive (flat) yield
**MY: Multiplicative yield

FWIW, only the percentages changes when the passive requisites were met. I do not know what specific numerical values were added (if at all) to the actual base values my character had at the time of testing (hence my only showing the percentage changes.) Anyway. just trying to wrap my noggin around the results.

Cheers!
