Skill/Passives node search function breaks after pressing Escape

Skill Specializaton trees and Passive trees have this handy search edit box, where you can enter text to highlight nodes with matching descriptions.

The problem is, if you press Escape while there’s an active caret in the edit box, new nodes are no longer highlighted regardless of the search text., until you leave the game.
