Sigils Of Hope

Why does sigils of hope have to be on your skillbar to be able to proc on 6% chance a kill. while other skills don’t? (Like forge guards ability to cast ring of shields when hit)

Because that’s one of the nodes of the skill. If the chance were coming from a different source (eg, idols) then you wouldn’t need it on your skill bar.

you don’t need lightning blast on your skillbar when using the node from static strike (think thats what spellblade skill is called)
You don’t need elemental nova on skillbar to cast it using teleport.
And im sure there are others Im missing

That’s because Static & the other skills that can cast Lightning Blast are the ones that are doing the casting.

The source of Sigils of Hope is Sigils of Hope, therefore it needs to be on your toolbar. As I said, if something else was casting it then Sigils of Hope wouldn’t need to be on the toolbar. Just like the idol that procs smite on throwing attack, the active skill is hammer/shield throw (which is on your toolbar) & when it hits something, the game then proc’s Smite for you. As Sigils of Hope is the active skill/source of the cast, that’s what needs to be on your toolbar.
