Saving Last Refuge unable to progress

Completed the final fight up to the point of killing the boss there. After speaking to the Elder, and my loot dropping. I realized I was full, so I used a portal and went to town to empty my inventory. I returned through my portal to the area, the loot was gone, the path blocked again, the shard was still able to interacted with, but I could not progress beyond the void mass.

Steps to recreate:

  1. Follow Main Quest Saving Last Refuge up to killing the Boss
  2. After killing the boss speak to the Eldar
  3. DO NOT INTERACT WITH THE SHARD OR PICK UP THE LOOT
  4. Create a Portal to Town
  5. Use the Portal
  6. Portal back to the boss arena
  7. Now you are stuck.
