I love arpg’s and always play a strait up Melee build with NO magic or projectiles. Is this viable in this game? I’m also new so hello everyone! Looking forward to buying and playing this (to use developers favorite word) soon.
There are certainly specializations that can be completely melee.
The Knight is the standard warrior intro-class. One of her advance classes is the SENTINEL, physical damage and defensive based. This will certainly fit your niche. The other 2 advance classes, Void Knight and Paladin (currently not in), are more magic oriented. The rogue class (also currently not implemented yet) would probably suite your desire as well.
