Item disappeared after trying to craft

Hi,

I got the legendary that gives minion ranged attacks and spells more damage (death’s reach??? something like that?? was a 1h wand).
Had the wand equipped
ported back to town because my inventory was full
Decided to see if I could craft on it and put it in the craft window using “f”
accidentally pushed the portal to go back through the open ui windows and my wand was gone
TP’d back to town to see if I could find it and it was nowhere to be found.
