Devouring Void from a voidfire maggot. Seems like such a minor enemy shouldnt be able to instantly kill a well gear character. Was just arena wave 50. I could survive a highly telegraphed smash attack from monsters. Is the damage bugged?
Ah thanks. So yea its just that devouring void scales way too high with a large number of corpses. It seems it just adds the damage from all the devouring voids created into one hit. I really think this needs to be changed. Sometimes you have to walk near corpses. Perhaps a cascading effect so they dont all hit at the exact same time?
