Stefthedudes Captain America build is great fun to play and his guides have a little more meat than most…
For a beginner, I would suggest chosing a any build that doesnt rely on hard to find affixes more than anything else. There are lots of easy to play builds but as a beginner it may be frustrating using something that “requires” a specific affix and this could put you off. Another recommendation would be to watch the playstyle videos - sometimes a build can be easy to build/level but the playstyle may not be the simplest - I have stopped playing many builds because the “way of playing” just didnt appeal to me. A last recommendation is to understand which builds require a transition phase - i.e. you may have to level using a different set of skills until you get to the a level where you can activate a particular passive or use a particular item. It is fairly easy to level almost anything to about level 40 but you must be willing to rework a build… Oh yes… and masteries are final choices - you cannot change so be sure when you chose.
The easiest build (and probably the most OP) I have played is the Spellblade (Firebrand Flamereave).

Coming from Grim Dawn so i know how diverse ARPG builds can be, cant wait to get stuck in
