Deactivating chat

Hi. I searched for a chat related topic, but that one didnt came up.

So, I don’t like global chats - It’s coarse and rough and irritating… wrong quote.
But serious, I don’t like to read from peoples I don’t interact with, so upcoming messages are annoying and distracting. I searched for an option to close the chat or something like that.

So, how can I prevent the chat from sending messages?

Hit ESC and there is an option at top that says Leave Chat. It is bugged for me tho, i can’t leave but normally that is the way.
