Got quest “To shell with it”. Can’t acquire meat from crabs. Was farming Giat Crabs yesterday for about 1 or 2 hours. Today about 30 min and no result.
Same here. Cleared the map about ten times and no Giant Crab droped meat.
Thanks for the reports. We’ll be fixing/improving this sidequest in a future hotfix, so keep an eye on patch notes.
I just finished this quest with another character. With my first character I collected the eggs first and then the meat never dropped. Now I ignored the eggs at first and the meat dropped eventually. After that I could collect the eggs and finish the quest. So until this is fixed, it might be good advice to wait for the meat drop and collect the eggs later.
This should be much easier to complete as of 0.7.8d-- not all of the Giant Crabs were set up to count for the quest objective in earlier patches. Thanks!
