I think this game needs artifact, but they can be socket into weapon or body armor. Artifacts contains improvements of stats and altering or increasing strength of certain abilities of specific class. Can be equipped from level 55 .
We have class specific affixes for helmet and body armour. Iām not sure there is going to be a socket system. We are going to get legendaries, which maybe have sockets?
Sockets were rumored to be coming in the future its a system we know very little about but considering ehg inspiration from d2 I cant see some version of sockets not being implmented.
